Five Three Design approached Thought Gap with the need to identify a focus for the company, create a mission statement and compile a professionally produced case studies book that would support their current portfolio of work. They wanted to become fully aware of their company's purpuse and communicate that through a cohesive mission statement and booklet of images and language to identify their ability to assist a company through various stages of the marketing process acting as true collaborators. The book also needed to show how well they have worked as a design arm for marketing firms and print houses. Kristianne spent three months coordinating and leading weekly and bimonthly meetings to help Five Three Design's partners get on the same page with focus and direction for the company. She then worked with the entire staff to develop a concise and expressive corporate mission statement that everyone could live up to. For the portfolio booklet, Kristianne coordinated and organized all existing tears from projects Five Three Design had produced over the last ten years. She then edited the samples leaving only the best work to communicate theirunique message. Particular pieces were selected to illustrate Five Three's talent in developing and maintaining a consistent brand identity for two of their largest clients. The other category of work evolved out of Five Three's prolific work for professional and outdoor sports. Through the process of tear sheet editing, collaborative process reviews and several copy writing and editing sessions, Thought Gap and Five Three were able to produce a comprehensive overview of their best work while illustrating the evolution of a successful business relationship between them and their client. The book reflects Five Three's professionalism and design in it's hinged frosted glass cover, aluminum post system and black ultrasuede slipcover handmade by Kristianne. The look ties directly into Five Three's brushed aluminum portfolio box. The style
of the case studies book has laid a solid design foundation for all
of Five Three's future |
